facility, ensuring optimal indoor comfort, energy efficiency, and system reliability in compliance with
safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, pumps, ductwork, etc.).
- Carry out corrective maintenance by identifying root causes of equipment failure and implementing permanent repair solutions to restore system functionality.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and civil maintenance teams to support multidisciplinary work.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complaints related to indoor temperature, air quality, and ventilation.
- Assist with HVAC system modifications, retrofits, and installation/commissioning of new units or upgrades.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
- Monitor and adjust BMS/HVAC control systems to maintain performance and comfort levels.
- Record service activities, readings, and findings accurately in maintenance logs or CAFM.
- Replace filters, belts, motors, actuators, dampers, and other HVAC components as needed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades (electrical, plumbing, civil) as required.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, HVAC, or Refrigeration Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years in HVAC maintenance, preferably in a commercial, retail, or hospitality facility.
- Proficient in reading HVAC drawings and technical manuals.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting tools.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
- Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions under pressure
- Willingness to collaborate with others in cross-functional maintenance teams.
