Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the people, property and assets. Typically, it includes surveillance monitoring, access control, responding to incidents, protecting people and property, reporting and documentation, ensuring rules and regulations and emergency handling.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the safety of employees, customers and premises
Assist guest and visitors while maintaining both a friendly and welcoming attitude
Accurately documenting security breaches, suspicious activity or emergencies
Adhering to company security protocols, laws and industry standards,
Acting swiftly in fire outbreaks, medical emergencies or security threats
Upholding a high standard of conduct, discipline and customer service

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and more than 1 year experience in this field
Ability to stand, walk or patrol for extended hours
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
Knowledge to security system, surveillance equipment and emergency response procedure
Attention to detail and high - level vigilance
Ability to assess situation quickly and make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
